Has been winning awards and serving celebrated food for over two decades. Our Chef has been awarded 2AA Rosettes and has achieved recommendation in the esteemed Michelin Guide in 2014. The Restaurant style is time-honoured elegance with crisp white table linens, fresh flowers, crystal glasses and candle-light, offering a choice of menus which specialise in producing the best of Local Scottish Seafood, as well as our renowned Scottish meat and game.
All guests who book on a half board basis are automatically reserved a table for Dinner in this restaurant.
Head Chef provides varied and exciting options to choose from: Our Daily Changing Seafood Specials Blackboard showcases the best and freshest of west coast seafood from our associate fishing boat "The Kirsty Anne" off Tiree.
Alongside this, our wonderful Seasonal À la carte menu offers diners a varied choice of starters, mains and desserts including some traditional favourites as well as Chef's more stylish and unusual dishes.
For that special occasion we also offer a Tasting Menu with or without wine flights. This wondeful menu features some very rare and exceptional wines from across the world which have been specially paired with several dishes off the menu. A real feast for a special treat or anniversary celebration.
The Driftwood Brasserie
Opened with great acclaim in March 2013, our Brasserie adopts a less formal dining option whilst offering the same delicious menus as The Restaurant. The Brasserie is also open for lunch every day. Tables are wooden and simply laid and the atmosphere is very relaxed and informal. The Brasserie is decorated in calm and inviting "New England" style with painted wood panelling, comfy upholstered chairs and oak floors.
The menu showcases all the superb dishes and menus found in The Restaurant and our new "Blackboard" featuring the "Catch of the Day" seafood and shellfish alongside many British favourites like our famous Beer Battered Fish and Hand Cut Chips, Aberdeen Angus Steaks or Home Made slow cooked pulled beef burgers.
We offer the same a la carte menu for both lunch and dinner so you can enjoy a simple bowl of soup, a home made Burger or some fresh langoustines from our “seafood Specials” Blackboard be it lunch or dinner. If you prefer to have a full 2 or 3 course lunch our extensive menu will accommodate all tastes and pockets.
We also offer a Vegetarian Menu and a Childrens Menu for small people. We can cater for special parties and gatherings in our Brasserie Restaurant which is also available for exclusive events - please call our reservations Team for details.
