The Marriage Ceremony

Kilcamb has four designated places where marriages can be solemnised.
The ceremony is a Civil Ceremony as would be the case in a Registry Office.

1) The Loch Side by the old anchor 2) The Garden Swing 3) Under the Lime Tree

all are suitable for an outdoor ceremony where any number of guests can attend.

4) The Drawing Room is a very elegant and beautiful room overlooking Loch Sunart and the mountains, which would be suitable for up to 28 people attending (standing only) and approximately 15 people seated.

Wherever you decide to have the ceremony the charge is the same £375.00

The Reception

Our two AA Rosette Award Winning restaurant can cater for the most demanding requirements for your wedding feast. We can accommodate a sit down meal in our dining room for up to 28 people. A larger party would need a Marquee, which would enable a seated meal for up to 65 people and room for dancing. Kilcamb’s intimate and romantic dining room is a perfect venue for the wedding feast for small weddings of 2 to 28.

The Wedding Package

Your entire wedding will be co-ordinated by our specialist team so you can relax and be sure that Kilcamb Lodge will be taking care of every detail of your wedding plans. Below are some basic requirements and price guides which we hope will assist with initial budgeting and planning - a final quotation will be sent once all the details and requirements have been agreed.

Kilcamb Lodge has 10 luxurious double bedrooms all of which are en-suite, including a beautiful Bridal Suite. We can also provide you with a list of local B & B’s and hotels in the immediate vicinity that can cater for additional accommodation which would be required for larger wedding parties.

Our maximum number for a wedding is 65 (marquee required) or 2 - 20 (no marquee required) for numbers of 16 to 65, we require that Kilcamb Lodge is booked exclusively for the wedding day and the day prior to the wedding. Our charge for this is £ 5,800 for 2 nights and includes Dinner B & B for 20 people on the first night it does not include the cost of the Wedding Day Feast. Prices for this start at £40.00 per person for a four course sit down meal or from £25 per person for a buffet. The addition of a marquee works very well as the marquee is erected immediately adjacent to our dining room with a covered walkway joining it to the hotel. This ensures a totally safe and dry environment for all guests whatever the weather and easy access to the bar and the all important toilets. Our Marquee price will be quoted individually but as a guide, a marquee for 60 people with a dance floor, heating, lighting, tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery etc. is £3, 500.

For smaller weddings of 2-16, we simply arrange for accommodation and wedding feast as if it were a normal reservation with only the additional charge for the ceremony £375.00 and any special requirements you may have.

At Kilcamb we arrange all the additional extra special touches to complete the Wedding Day celebrations, these include: Fireworks, Piper, Harpist, Ceilidh Band, Flowers, Photographer, Wedding cake, Yacht Moorings
