Kilcamb Lodge under new ownership

Kilcamb Lodge, a country house hotel on the banks of one of Scotland’s most scenic sea lochs, is under new ownership.

From 1 July 2021, new owners, Pam and David Jones, Barbara Grzeda and Raymond Sterpaio, have taken over the ownership and running of the 11-bedroom hotel on Loch Sunart.

Previous owners, Sally and David Fox, have sold Kilkamb Lodge after 18 years of running the former hunting lodge that was turned into a hotel in 1960.

During that time, the hotel gained 3 AA Rosette for its gourmet food and wine, becoming one of the best restaurants in Scotland in one of its most picturesque locations.

“After many wonderful years as owners of Kilcamb Lodge Hotel, it is with mixed emotions that we announce our retirement. Kilcamb Lodge has been our dream, our wonderful home and our business for 18 years and we will miss the daily ebb and flow of happy guests and working with a great team of dedicated people.

We would like to thank our truly amazing team of staff who have helped us every step of the way to create Kilcamb Lodge as it is today.  We also wish to thank the many regular and delightful guests who it has been our pleasure to serve and share in the Kilcamb experience, many of whom will always remain friends.

We leave Kilcamb Lodge with pride and affection and in the certain knowledge that the new and delightful owners share our passion and dedication and will, we have no doubt carry Kilcamb safely into a new and illustrious future, whilst acknowledging the attributes for which the Lodge has become so famous.  We wish them and all the team at Kilcamb Lodge success and happiness for the future."
