Keeping you safe and happy

At Kilcamb, under guidance from the Government, We have put into place our safety and social distancing measures to ensure the utmost care and safety for everyone’s wellbeing after we re-open.

Hospitality, as we knew it back in 2019,  will by necessity, have to make adjustments to ensure the health and safety of our guests and our staff.

Those familiar pleasures of the scenery, gourmet good, luxury and comfort that Kilcamb Lodge has become so famous for will still be the bedrock of what we do.  Not to mention our wonderful team. All of whom are still here after a long furlough and they are longing to welcome you back.

The joy of walking in the Highlands will be much the same as it always has been and we can’t foresee any problems with social distancing! You will still be able to indulge in the unrivalled peace and beauty of Kilcamb and it’s surroundings and feel the benefit of the wonderful outdoors.  For others, who have been stretched to capacity on the front line - we will be offering you a special Kilcamb thank you and a well earned rest with some pampering for good measure.

New health and safety procedures
Once back at Kilcamb Lodge, you will notice a quieter place with just eight double rooms available.  This means we can guarantee the necessary safety in terms of social distancing within the hotel whilst still retaining the essence of our service ethic. Our much loved restaurant has now been split into two areas (The Restaurant and the Lounge Bar) to enable safe social distancing between tables. In addition,  we’ll also be offering an in room dining and breakfast facility for guests who might prefer a little more privacy or protection. We are also allocating your table for the duration of your stay so that you have the reassurance and safety of your own space, reducing the risk of contamination.

Our new menu examples are available on our website and these too will be refined and re-designed to ensure our guests receive a special dining experience under the new restrictions. Pre-ordering will be an important part of your breakfast. This will help so much with service , allowing less staff interaction in the kitchens. It will also assist us to provide a prompt and safe service for guests whilst allowing kitchen and front-of-house staff to operate safely within social distancing regulations.

We will also be operating a contactless check-in, check-out, and account settlement system.

Cleaning and servicing of rooms will be undertaken with a thorough and focused approach, ensuring anti-bacterial cleansing and safety at every contact point and beyond both in rooms and throughout the hotel. All new arrivals can also take comfort from our antibacterial fogging process, which ensures every area of your room will be sanitised before you enter.

We will keep in touch and we are looking forward to helping  you, when you are ready, to embark on a visit to our lovely part of Scotland and even more so, looking after you during your stay.

Book early
We anticipate that availability will be taken up quite quickly this summer, due to our reduced capacity, so we do advise that you book as early as possible. We will be more than happy to offer flexibility with any booking that may need to be changed or moved.
