Reception
Our entrance is clearly marked and on one level, easy to access - from here you can head to the Reception desk to check in, or towards the Brasserie or Dining Room
The Driftwood Brasserie
Informal, stylish and cosy...
Opened with great acclaim in March 2013, our Driftwood Brasserie adopts a less formal dining option whilst offering the same delicious menus as the Restaurant. The Brasserie is also open for lunch every day. Tables are wooden and simply laid and the atmosphere is very relaxed and informal. The Brasserie is decorated in calm and inviting "New England" style with painted wood panelling, comfy upholstered chairs and oak floors.
We can cater for special parties and gatherings in our Brasserie Restaurant which is also available for exclusive events - please call our reservations team for details.
Our Dining Room
For a more formal feel...
All guests who book on a half board basis are automatically reserved a table for dinner in our Dining Room with a multi-course tasting menu, however, our much loved Driftwood Brasserie is available as well so you can always change venue to whichever restaurant you prefer. The Dining Room looks out over the Loch from two aspects.
The Terrace
Perfect for refreshment on a good day...
We have outdoor seating available for those seeking to soak up the sun and enjoy a bit of fresh air in fine weather. If you need a water bowl for your dog, please don't hesitate to ask.
Our Lounge/Drawing Room
The perfect spot to unwind...
Our lounge is available for guests to relax and unwind in, and we have a range of periodicals and games in there to keep you occupied and entertained as a couple, family or group of friends. Served by a roaring log fire in colder weather, this room has a more formal use as an indoor ceremony room. What could be more perfect than a relaxing drink overlooking the water, or perhaps you could imagine this window as the backdrop to your joining of hand and hearts. Whatever you need it for, it's a flexible room to be enjoyed, and our guests love it!
Our Ground Floor
You'll find easy chairs in our internal hallway, and this space leads upstairs to our en-suite bedrooms, or onwards to our Dining Room.
Our stairs are not particularly steep and there is a sturdy handrail to help you when you head up, but unfortunately we do not have a guest lift or disabled access to our bedrooms.
Our Attic Suite is then served by a further set of stairs.
Expect the unexpected!
A stunning feature
It would be remiss of us not to mention our stained glass window, which those who have stayed with us will remember as a strikingly memorable feature at Kilcamb Lodge.
Ways to stay
Our rates are for Dinner, B&B or for B&B only. However, we are renowned for our dining experience, so we highly recommend booking the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast option from the outset.
"We spent 4 nights with our eldest daughter, along with two dogs, at this fantastic hotel in late September. We stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast basis and we chose to have the tasting menu for dinner every night. This newly refurbished hotel was very professionally run at the same time as being friendly and welcoming to both us and our 4 legged friends. The dinners were fantastic, beautifully presented and very tasty. The staff were very attentive and helpful and having worked up an appetite by exploring the beautiful woods and hills surrounding the hotel we showed our appreciation by leaving our plates clean! The breakfasts were also particularly well presented with a wide choice of dishes which set us up for a day of exploring the stunningly beautiful countryside."
