Spring Foodie Treats and Easter Breaks in Scotland

A big hello to everyone from our little haven of tranquillity that is Kilcamb Lodge. While the sanctuary of the fireside has been all the more welcome after recent raging winds, we can now finally look forward to the joys of spring.

I personally love this time of year and I know many of you do too. With the hilltops still snowclad and the road and local attractions still quiet and peaceful, it’s a wonderful time to visit the Highlands. We look forward to cool, clear, lengthening days and starlit evenings in Ardnamurchan, not to mention all the natural wonders of spring.Image title

So if you fancy a little post winter recharge or perhaps just a wee romantic break and an escape from city life then I’m sure that we have the perfect package for you here at Kilcamb. Rest assured of cosy log fires, superb local cuisine and warm hospitality. We’ll hopefully see you soon!

Seasonal Menus & Superb New Dishes to Try

We always like to keep our food and drink fresh and seasonal here at Kilcamb Lodge, hence head chef Gary Phillips and his team have been busy scouring the local area for the best current produce. Some tasty new additions include Peanut Crusted Monkfish served with Smoked Aubergine Mash and Crispy Red Onion Rings (above); absolutely delicious! Those of a sweet tooth will also love Gary’s new Triple-Layered Chocolate Terrine with Yoghurt and Cardamom Ice Cream (below). It’s a chocolate lovers dream come true.

Many of your old favourites remain, of course, such as Battered West Coast Haddock with Chunky Beef Dripping Chips and our Slow Cooked Blade of Beef which has definitely made its mark as one of our Kilcamb signature dishes. We are as keen as ever to offer foodie breaks with a difference here in West Scotland, with a mixture of old favourites and something completely new to try every time you visit and 2017 promises to be no different with some cracking dishes and hotel deals.
