The Ardnamurchan Lighthouse
Take in the geology of the Peninsula with a trip to the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse, the most Westerly point in the UK, accessed via a drive through a volcano basin surrounded by Highland cattle. It's an exhilarating journey!

Castle Tioram
Take in a bit of the history of the area with a trip to Castle Tioram, where you can cross the causeway to take in the views at close quarters. Sturdy footwear advised.

Exploring Strontian village
With a fascinating mining history and striking architecture of white houses against a mountainous backdrop, Strontian sits at the head of Loch Sunart, a tidal loch in the West Highlands. Strontian is also considered to be the gateway to the Wild West Ardnamurchan Peninsula.
